Did you know that the members of the Washington Historical Society clean up Krog Park once a month? I didn't, until I joined the group a couple of weeks ago. We met up at 8 this morning at the park, and by 8:15 we were done picking up the trash (mostly cigarette stubs - we wore gloves). You can see some of the members proudly showing their "loot" - they said because they do the clean up every month, it is easier to keep up with the trash. Isn't it nice to live in a clean town?
